Looks like dalton is suffering from severe reflux at the moment. It interferes with his feedings quite a bit. Our pediatrician thinks he outgrew his calculated dose of his reflux medication which is based on weight. Anyways, we increased the dose today and hope that soon eating won't hurt him so much anymore. he got in a bit of a loop here. Since he is pulling of crying all the time from the breast he also swallows a lot of air which in turn makes him more gassy which causes him additional discomfort. We possibly have to switch to a stronger medication if he doesnt improve within the next couple of weeks. Here we thought his colicky hours have become more frequent or he is just unhappy with something. Since his reflux symptoms returned very gradual we just got used to a new baseline with more crying and difficulties feeding. Poor little guy. I wish he could just hold up a little red flag when he starts having pain again. We hope he gets better soon. he is up to 11lbs12oz.
