Dalton has been fever-free since Monday but has still been cranky, sleepy and clingy. He still mostly nurses and refuses most foods. Every now and then he doesn't cling to us and actually enjoys looking at books which is new. Usually he would just gnaw on the book instead of turning pages and looking at pictures.
Dalton is very hesitant with walking. Whenever he possibly can he will grab either our hand and start walking or cruise along the walls. Of course he still takes about 5 steps alone but he has to be in the mood. I'm fairly sure he is still not feeling like his former, healthy self. At least he is not acting like it.
We also started transitioning him to a make shift bed on the living room floor in the evening. So he basically sleeps there instead of on our lap. It's quite amazing how much we can do when we are not glued to the couch trying hard to be quiet. Our end goal will be a transition into his own bed for naps and eventually at night. Currently we are all happy with the co-sleeping arrangement except the napping during the day. Here goes to a smooth transition.
